CBNSC brought home Most Points Award. 9 individual skaters and 2 dance teams qualified to attend Skate NL Provincials to be held in Grand Falls - Windsor in March. Congratulations to Ice Sparkles and Ice Gems

On January 29, 2011 the 2011 Atlantic Regional Synchronized Skating Champioships took place at the Glacier in Mount Pearl. The Ice Sparkles (Beginner 1) won a bronze medal and the Ice Gems (Beginner 2) won silver.

Congratulations to Brieanne Dale Fowler, a grade 11 student at Ascension Collegiate and a senior skater with CBNSC, who is now the youngest certified judge in our region (certified to judge up to junior bronze)! She is also certified as a data input operatorat all levels, both starskate and competitive streams.

Congratulations to all our skaters who competed at Eastern Regionals on January 8 - 9 in Marystown.All skaters represented our club very proudly. A special congratulations to McKenna Mercer who received the Hart Award.

Congratulations to the Ice Sparkles, Ice Gems and Ice Storm Synchro teams who competed in the Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Synchronized Skating Championships in Mount Pearl on February 20 2010. The Ice Sparkles placed 1st in the Beginner 1 category, the Ice Gems placed 2ndin Beginner 2 and Ice Storm placed 4th in Adult category.
